Ever since a few hours ago, I can log into the game on the launcher, the server status is "up", I can open the game and see my characters, but any attempt to log into a character fails - the music plays but the loading bar never moves past 0%. I can log into the launcher and select my server, but when the client launches it just gets stuck on "Searching for Logon Server" until all 20 attempts are used and I am forced to close the window. Make sure any proxy settings are turned off.
I am totally fine now. We are taking steps to mitigate these environmental and infrastructure challenges, and apologize for any issues you encounter. Can load the game and (seemingly) connect to the server, but once I load a character, it never loads and I get a message stating that the connection to the server has timed out with only the option of exiting the game. I get the "No subscription to DDO found" or "No subscription to LOTRO found". So I use the LOTRO client, and I have money in my steam wallet that I'd like to use to buy some LOTRO points, but when I try to log into steam from the LOTRO store, it just keeps resetting to a blank login screen over and over. Able to log in today, finally. Today, a tweet from the official Lord of the Rings Online Twitter page looks like those issues might be coming back, though currently the game worlds are remaining open.

Yeah. Also, don't get him started on why Balrogs *don't* have wings. I put in a ticket and the reply said they "are aware of the issue and are working through it." We'll be sure to keep an eye on the situation and update this report should new details arise. except LOTRO. Has it cleared up for you or are you still having issues as well?

Is it just me or are we having problems with the servers at the moment? THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE. Time to play the 'Brandywine is dead' character on Vilya for a night :). Having written for multiple major outlets such as IGN, Playboy, and more, Joseph started writing for MMORPG in 2015. I submitted a ticket three days ago and still have yet to hear a response OR log in. It's been 3 days now, and Turbine has apparently gone silent about the issue. Cancelled my sub, this game wont be missed once it goes under in the next year.
Not just "Use system defaults" or whatever it says. After when I click enter middle earth, screen just freezes, no load nothing and says "server log in error" - turbine is really pissing me off. They explained what they did, and what some others did too, to make things better.
