Epic Pictures Group has a special season treat for horror fans this fall: a four-disc Collector’s Edition Blu-ray / DVD release of their Tales of Halloween anthology film. Not a big deal. :-).
Some things will never change! Have yet to watch though, waiting for time without mr. Umapuma. I usually like Elephant Games because most of them are mechanical type puzzles where you tinker with fuses, electrical panels, or gauges and they always seem doable and never frustrating. I enjoyed the artwork as well as the story. It's not that it's bad (well...), it's just not on the level you think it is when it's compared to one of the best Halloween anthologies.
After the demo, I used my precious CE coupon, hoping for a few good Halloween scares, but receiving much less. It has many spots that feel a bit...raw, unhemmed, slapped together. I will say it has some really good practical makeup for the creatures and gore throughout but I had to shut it off. It's the mark of a cheaply made movie, and I would give this movie a hard pass. Top subscription boxes – right to your door.
Nothing thrilling about it at all basically you just see a bunch of guts and blood and not even a hint of a good storyline for any of them. Another plus in the game is that there is not an excess of going back and forth, which allows for more enjoyment.
Plenty of blood and disturbing deaths, in the various segments. Good job, Elephant Games. Better recommendations for Halloween would be The Lady in White, The Blair Witch Project, Orphan or even some old Twilight Zone episodes. Some copycat take on the Blair Witch Project, which half the "horror" movies now are about: a group of idiots with a camera either in their homes capturing haunting or running around in a wood ending up getting chopped up. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys horror.
