Having received and watched the new Blu-Ray edition (Network, 2014 release date) yesterday I'm very pleased - the picture is great, very nicely detailed with some grain present but not enough to distract. Having recently bought a new 40 inch TV to replace my dying 32 inch model I was disappointed in the picture quality of my Network DVD copy of The Ipcress File; most of my DVDs look fine on the new set, but the 2006 DVD really doesn't hold up so well at the larger size.
