The movie is dark but those were dark times and all those stories are so good.
Meadows boldly attempts to reclaim the skinhead from the traditional neo-Nazi image, explicitly distinguishing his characters from a separate racist influence, and presenting them as an anarchic youth tribe that idolised West Indian music.

The music I recognised, particularly Warhead by UK Subs which was released in 1980 (I still have the single in brown vinyl) but in some ways it didn't fit with the 1983 I remember as music had moved on a fair distance by then. You’ll definitely need those tissues and a strong drink! He sets out to make Scorz a star with a little help from the Artic Monkeys. The director is super talented, I hope to see a lot more from him.

Travelling or based outside United States? I say the first half because by the time I got into the 'scene' all of the Nazi skinheads had been run out of the area or went very underground. The story about the murder of an 11-year-old boy, Rhys Jones in Croxteth, Liverpool, in 2007 and his parents, Melanie's and Steve's ordeal, and how Rhys's murderer and associates were eventually brought to justice.

It's mid 80's England, and the gang are back, looking for a laugh, a job and something that resembles a future. Soulmates, woody and Lol find themselves in exile from each other and the gang.

Acting was very good and the characters strong. Smell and Woody welcome Shaun back into the fold while Gadge has a night of passion and Lol discovers an awful surprise waiting for her back at home.
