I started using Greased Lightening in the late '90's and it worked better than any other cleaner I had tried before. Another trouble i seem to have is that none of the stores around here carry Grease Lighting anymore. I use it in the kitchen on cabinets, the areas around the stove, the wood knife block, and metal canisters.
My husband works at a car lot and he is not a mechanic himself but at times he gets grease on his steering wheel this removes that greasy feeling. This is NOT a gentle harmless product, it is a tough cleaner with warnings. Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. It's not as expensive as some other brands but you get far better results. ? I like to use this product on my stove when it has grease build up. Not sure about how versatile this product is.
