Saw this on a rented dvd. Verified reviews are considered more trustworthy by fellow moviegoers. Like 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' (based on the true story of Anneliese Michel) this movie is also based on the true story of the Tanacu exorcism, which was a case wherein Maricica Irina Cornici, a mentally ill nun at the Romanian Orthodox Church monastery of Tanacu in Vaslui County, Romania, was killed during an exorcism by priest Daniel Petre Corogeanu with the help of four other nuns. Please reference “Error Code 2121” when contacting customer service. There are nuances in each of these style films that sets them apart from the others.

[Full review in Spanish]. That’s what happens with The Crucifixion, a tale about a journalist investigating the death of a nun that occurred during an exorcism. Regal I for one am glad for it. It is a beautifully shot film. Indroctination by fear... this is not good. There are no surprises here. The acting was exceptionally good and the story and plot were very good. I give it a 9 because not many Horror films give glory to God and end on a good note concerning the power of Jesus in our lives. Based on true events, this film is interesting, entertaining, and very well made. If you're reading this review, I'd really recommend watching it some night with someone who scares easily. I am surprised that after making such a brutal n atmospheric film, Frontiere(s), what made Glens create such a slow n tame film. @IKWYNfilm The Crucifixion shows a lot of elements of mystery and sexuality that makes if feel like a homage of Hammer Horror, but it falls a little short from become a classic of even a cult classic, real short. I was so excited when I watched the trailer but when the movie starts it was really bad.
